Amalga Limited are a specialist airport contractor that have been awarded a contract at Heathrow Airport to support the delivery of several major construction projects. We employ staff with security clearance into the airside areas on construction sites within airports.

Key responsibilities in your role as an Architectural Metalwork Installer will be to:

  • Install internal metal fixtures & fittings within the terminal buildings EG balustrades, handrails, internal panels glass screens, metal partition systems, and prefabricated furniture items.
  • You will be using hand tools and power tools to install precision engineered items produced off site.
  • You will be working within integrated teams in the airside areas in a live operational airport environment ensuring exacting standards of safety and security are maintained.

The successful candidate must have an NVQ Level 2 and Blue CSCS Card Architectural Metalwork Installer, right to work in the UK, photo ID, proof of address, excellent communication skills, previous installation experience and be competent at following safe systems of work. You will need to pass a criminal record check, have lived in the UK for the last five years, pass a five-year written check, an online security training course and be prepared to participate in random drug and alcohol tests on site. Previous airport experience is useful, not essential.

We can offer an employment contract on PAYE paying a competitive rate on nights 20:30-05:00 five nights per week. Other benefits include 23 days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays, a contributory pension, weekly pay, cycle-to-work scheme, PPE, and the opportunity to work in an exciting operational environment with an elevated level of safety and professionalism.
