About Amalga Limited
Amalga Limited are a specialist airport construction logistics contractor and have been awarded contracts at Heathrow Airport to support the delivery of several major construction projects. We provide construction logistical support including the delivery of equipment, consumables, and airside cleared staff into the airside areas.
Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities in your role as a CCDO Demolition Operative will be to dismantle and remove internal and external fixtures and fittings within the terminal buildings (e.g., cladding, ceilings, walls, floors, and furniture items).
- You will be using hand tools and power tools such as a reciprocating saw and manual handling methods for the safe disposal of construction waste.
- You will be working within integrated teams in the airside areas in a live operational airport environment ensuring exacting standards of safety and security are maintained.
- You may also be supporting trades persons, securing temporary works and being observant to traffic management operations.
Requirements
- Valid CCDO Demolition card
- Right to work in the UK, photo ID, proof of address
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous demolition and strip out construction site experience
- Competent at following safe systems of work
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and have lived in the UK for the last five years
- Pass a five-year written check and an online security training course
- Prepared to participate in random drug and alcohol tests on site
- Previous airport experience is useful, not essential

- Employment contract on PAYE with days 07:30-17:00, five days per week, or nights 19:30–04:00, five nights per week
