We are looking for a Registered Manager to manage a residential service for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The role is responsible for day-to-day operation and management of an Ofsted regulated children’s home, ensuring compliance with The Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015 and delivering high‑quality residential services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring effective collaboration with young people, families, and partner agencies.
  • Develop and deliver high‑quality residential services and placement & care planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted registration requirements and maintain the Home’s Statement of Purpose.
  • Promote the best outcomes for young people through research, development and partnership.

Required Qualifications

  • Management experience within young people’s residential services.
  • Completed the RMA / NVQ 4 in Leadership + Management or ILM Level 5, or willing to commence within three months of starting.
  • Excellent knowledge of children’s homes national minimum standards and the Children’s Act 2010.
  • Ability to cope with emotionally challenging situations and act calmly under pressure.
