We are looking for a passionate Residential Support Worker who personally wants to make a difference in the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide high‑quality care and support to children in a residential setting. You will work as part of a dedicated team to promote the physical, emotional, and social well‑being of each child, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and understood. Your role includes maintaining a structured, stable environment, supporting day‑to‑day activities, personal development, and educational goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building Strong Bonds – get to know the children you support and build relationships based on trust, care, and respect.
  • Making Learning Fun – help with homework, school projects, and creative activities such as arts & crafts or building Lego towers.
  • Supporting Growth – guide and encourage young people to achieve their goals, whether improving social skills, taking up a hobby, or succeeding academically.
  • Ensuring Safety & Well‑Being – make sure the children feel safe, valued, and protected at all times, following safeguarding procedures.

What You Will Need

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Experience working with young people with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Successful applicants will be required to undergo enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
