Social Care Recruitment is looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to support children and young people aged 8–17 with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioural needs. We offer day shifts, night shifts, or a combination of both to fit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
  • Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
  • Participate in in‑house and community‑based activities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child‑focused team
  • Follow safeguarding principles and Children’s Home Regulations (Ofsted)

What We’re Looking For

  • Full‑time availability (Essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)
  • Minimum 6 months UK social care experience (children or adults)
  • A proactive, resilient and confident approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred; can be arranged if needed)
