As the Service / Site Reliability Engineer, you will be required to assume technical leadership on the Operational environment for the entire range of IT Infrastructure and Software layer deployments.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to and implement standard operating procedures for BAU activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address and identify opportunities that will translate into increased efficiency, standardisation, and defect prevention.
- Contribute to and maintain Knowledge Base articles that can be a reference for IT operations at the global level.
- Deploy latest generation solutions (Full IT Stack) at customer sites.
- Embrace the Change Management process and advocate its importance throughout the organisation.
- Testing, deploying and configuration of new systems.
- Proactively identifying faults both remotely and occasionally at sites.
- Able to cover a 24/7 on‑call (currently on a 1:5 basis), responding to escalated incidents and guiding/performing break/fix activities when errors and faults occur within SLA.
- Liaising with customers when on site, remotely and proactively communicating with the global ITOps community, providing visibility and insight on escalating issues and identifying areas where service can be improved.
- Participating in the development of Technical Support Specialists through supervision, coaching and upskilling sessions, generating a culture of accountability for actions.
