You will be expected to combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen and hands‑on execution, from early idea exploration to deal negotiation and early‑stage project execution.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strategic & Functional Leadership: Brings specialized depth and breadth of expertise in their discipline, acting as a trusted expert and reference point for business development and strategic initiatives. Provides expert guidance, promotes innovation, and supports the development of less experienced professionals through knowledge sharing and formal or informal training. Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Cytric and Amadeus ecosystem, using market, partner and customer insights to improve efficiency and influence departmental strategy. Translates strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans, defining objectives, monitoring progress and driving outcomes. Operates with a high level of autonomy, aligned with management direction, and may coordinate cross‑functional initiatives or project teams while serving as a best‑practice and quality benchmark.
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Manages multiple business development initiatives simultaneously within a complex, matrixed organization. Identifies and develops new revenue and growth opportunities with existing Travel Management Company (TMC) resellers, actively supporting partners in pipeline development and closing net‑new deals. Identifies, evaluates and builds strategic partnerships — independently or in collaboration with other Amadeus business units — that support both short‑term opportunities and long‑term strategic goals for Cytric. Leads and negotiates complex commercial agreements, including reseller contracts, strategic partnerships and marketing agreements, ensuring mutual value creation. Provides due diligence and business case support for new business opportunities and investment decisions.
  • Strategy & Market Intelligence: Contributes to and coordinates special strategic projects related to both current priorities and future growth areas. Works closely with Amadeus Corporate Strategy, ensuring alignment between Cytric initiatives and broader group objectives. Collaborates with the ACO network, Regional teams and internal stakeholders to understand and articulate strategic priorities. Conducts ongoing market, competitive and ecosystem analysis, monitoring trends in corporate travel, technology, partnerships and emerging business models.
  • Project & Start‑up / Incubation Management: Following approval (“green light”) of new initiatives, defines clear work plans, engages relevant stakeholders and manages early‑stage execution. Acts as interim project lead for new business initiatives, structuring governance, timelines and deliverables. Prepares and manages the handover to line management, ensuring continuity, clarity of ownership and sustainable execution.

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a profile who thrives at the intersection of strategy, business development and execution, and who is motivated by building what’s next.

You Bring:
  • Significant experience in business development, strategy, partnerships or sales, ideally in technology, travel, SaaS or platform‑based businesses.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments, moving comfortably from high‑level strategy to hands‑on delivery.
  • Experience working in matrixed, international organizations, with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • A solid understanding of (or strong interest in) the corporate travel ecosystem, TMCs, resellers, and digital platforms.
You Are:
  • Entrepreneurial and curious, with a strong appetite for innovation, partnerships and new business models.
  • Strategic but pragmatic, able to turn ideas into execution plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, while engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • A clear communicator, able to tailor messages to senior leadership, partners and operational teams.
  • Results‑driven, resilient, and motivated by building long‑term value rather than short‑term wins only.
