We are seeking a strategic and analytically minded Head of Business Insights to lead our data-driven decision-making capabilities across the business. This high-impact role requires a sharp analytical thinker who can bridge the gap between data and strategic action, working closely with senior stakeholders to influence key business decisions. You’ll lead a team of analysts and insight specialists to uncover critical business trends, identify growth opportunities, and optimise performance. This role demands a rare combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to tell compelling, insight-led stories that drive alignment and decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office at least once per week.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of business insights that support strategic planning, commercial operations, and performance management.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable insights through proficient data storytelling and visualisation.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and provide forward-looking insights that influence key business initiatives.
  • Build and manage a high-performing insights team, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigour, and forward-thinking analysis.
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics, visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), and modern data practices across the business.
  • Ensure insights are tailored to the audience – enabling faster, better decisions by translating technical detail into business-relevant narratives.
  • Work cross-functionally to embed a data-driven culture and drive continuous improvement in how data is used across the organisation.
  • Monitor external market, customer, and competitor trends to inform strategic direction and forecasting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles, ideally within a complex, regulated, or customer-centric environment.
  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics).
  • Deep understanding of data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau Cloud), data governance, and AI/ML applications in business contexts.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for unlocking business value through data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery models and product management principles.
  • Experience in aviation, travel, or logistics sectors is a plus.
What’s in it for you
  • An opportunity to join a fast-growing company.
  • Options for career advancement.

  • Flexible working environment.
  • Competitive salaries based on experience.
