At AMA Concept, we create a luxury, highly personalised hair experience for an exceptional clientele in the heart of Chelsea. We are looking for an elegant, highly organised and warm Salon Receptionist / Client Experience Coordinator to become the face of our atelier. This is far more than a front desk role — you will be responsible for creating a seamless, elevated client journey from the moment someone enters the salon to the moment they leave.
The Role
You will be the first impression of AMA and play a key role in ensuring every client receives impeccable service and feels welcomed, cared for and attended to.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients with warmth, confidence and professionalism
- Delivering a luxury client experience from arrival to departure
- Managing bookings, diary coordination and appointment confirmations
- Checking clients in and out efficiently
- Serving refreshments and ensuring clients feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Managing phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries and online bookings
- Coordinating stylists’ schedules and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Rebooking appointments and encouraging client retention
- Supporting retail sales and product recommendations
- Maintaining an immaculate front-of-house environment
- Handling payments, till reconciliation and daily admin
About You
We are looking for someone polished, personable and exceptionally organised.
Essential qualities:
- Previous experience in a luxury salon, boutique hospitality, premium clinic, members’ club, luxury retail or front-of-house environment
- Immaculate presentation and strong communication skills
- Warm, confident and naturally hospitable personality
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking skills
- Comfortable with booking systems and technology
- A genuine passion for beauty, hair and exceptional service
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with salon software (Fresha, Treatwell, Phorest or similar)
- Existing luxury client-facing experience
- Strong retail or client relationship skills
