We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Worksop. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and helping them achieve their full potential. Working alongside class teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in their learning both individually and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support pupils with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs.
  • Prepare learning resources and classroom materials.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote children's wellbeing.
  • Supervise pupils during break times, educational visits, and school activities as required.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable).
  • A positive, patient, and caring approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
