Graduate SEN Teacher
Milk Education is working in partnership with specialist SEN schools across Guildford, Farnborough, and the surrounding areas to recruit Graduate SEN Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs and newly qualified teachers looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive SEND environment.
Whether your background is in Primary or Secondary education, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference while developing your teaching skills within specialist SEN settings.
The Role as a Graduate SEN Teacher:
You will teach and support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties, delivering engaging lessons that help every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEND
- Work closely with Learning Support Assistants, SENCOs, and therapists
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- A passion for working with children with SEND
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
