  • We are recruiting for a
  • Year 5 Teacher for a Primary School in

Hindley (WN2) to work on a long-term basis starting in September 2026!

The temporary Year 5 Teacher role starts in September 2026.

This role works 5 full days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30am- 16:00pm.

There are 28 children in the class, and there is one full‑time TA working on a one-to-one basis with a SEND child.

The school would like someone who has previous KS2 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills.

Your role & responsibilities

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, and setting homework tasks
  • Managing behaviour
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Non-negotiables
  • You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
  • Hold QTS
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate and understanding
  • Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
  • Good communication skills
