We're currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a Primary School in Wigan (WN1) on a long-term basis starting in September.
You’ll be joining a caring and creative school, focused on the local community and promoting confidence, success and independence.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
- Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
- A teaching qualification with QTS
- Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour managementExceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
