We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Washington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating an engaging, supportive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to raising standards and pupil attainment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Essential Requirements

  • QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
