Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham , and we're looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Role

  • Support pupils with their learning and development
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Support pupils with SEND and additional needs
  • Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Work closely with teachers and school staff
  • We're Looking For
  • Recent experience working in a Primary School or education setting
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A positive, reliable and adaptable approach
  • Experience working with children, young people or adults in a professional capacity within the last 5 years
