We're currently recruiting for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join a Primary School in Wallsend on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils and groups.
- Provide targeted support and interventions to help pupils achieve academic, social, and emotional development goals.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment by managing behaviour effectively and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform future planning and support.
Qualifications
- Classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to plan, deliver, and adapt learning activities to meet diverse pupil needs.
- HLTA status (or willingness to work towards HLTA accreditation, depending on the school).
- Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning (e. g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are often desirable or required.
