We're currently recruiting for a Qualified Teacher to join on supply in Primary Schools in and around Wakefield in on a long or short-term basis starting in September.

This role is on a supply basis and could either be Day-2-Day work or a Longer-Term position depending on preference.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, following school policies and curriculum plans while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strong behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils remain focused, safe and engaged throughout the school day.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND, EAL and varying abilities, promoting inclusion and ensuring every child can access learning.
  • Complete all expected teaching responsibilities, including planning (where required), marking, assessment, safeguarding, and effective communication with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements or Skills

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Recent experience teaching within UK Primary Schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills with the ability to adapt to different school settings.
