A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Teddington is looking to appoint an inspiring Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a well-behaved and engaged Year 5 class in a supportive school that values high-quality teaching, collaboration and professional development.
The Role
- Full-time Year 5 Class Teacher
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can succeed
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
- Working closely with the Year 5 team, support staff and Senior Leadership Team
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative and engaging teaching style
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about raising attainment and inspiring a love of learning
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant KS2 placement experience.
