Milk Education are currently recruiting for a Sports Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a sports graduate, aspiring PE teacher, sports coach or experienced Cover Supervisor looking to develop their experience within a secondary school environment.
The Role
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson work and activities
- Support students with their learning and engagement
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Support PE and extracurricular sporting activities where required
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a degree or relevant sports qualification
- Has a genuine passion for sport and working with young people
- Is confident managing groups of secondary-aged students
- Has strong communication and behaviour-management skills
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Has previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or sports setting
