Milk Education are currently recruiting for a Sports Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a sports graduate, aspiring PE teacher, sports coach or experienced Cover Supervisor looking to develop their experience within a secondary school environment.

The Role

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson work and activities
  • Support students with their learning and engagement
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Support PE and extracurricular sporting activities where required
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a degree or relevant sports qualification
  • Has a genuine passion for sport and working with young people
  • Is confident managing groups of secondary-aged students
  • Has strong communication and behaviour-management skills
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • Has previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or sports setting

This role could be particularly suited to a Sports Graduate, Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor or aspiring PE Teacher.
