Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Shields on a long-term basis from
September . This opportunity is available on a temporary basis.

You main responsibilities will include
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities, play-based learning, and daily routines.
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children feel supported and valued.
- Assisting with personal care, communication, and emotional wellbeing while promoting independence.
- Working alongside the Early Years team to observe progress, support individual needs, and contribute to planning activities.
Requirements or skills
- Experience working with young children in an Early Years, nursery, or school setting.
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach with a passion for helping children learn and develop.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and creating inclusive learning environments.
