Primary Teacher (Early Years) - South Shields

Milk Education is working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School based in South Shield who are looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early YearsPrimary Teacherto join school from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Early Years lessons in line with EYFS.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within Early Years is desirable.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils of all abilities.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
