We're currently recruiting for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for flexible, short-term and day-to-day teaching opportunities across local schools. This is a fantastic way to gain experience in different school environments, develop your classroom practice and build your confidence while keeping the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
Day-to-day supply can also be a great stepping stone into your next role. As you gain experience and get to know different schools, there may be opportunities to move into longer-term assignments, temp-to-perm positions or permanent teaching roles where the right fit is found.
You'll have the opportunity to work in supportive and inclusive schools where you can experience different teaching environments, meet new colleagues and develop a strong understanding of what works for you as an educator.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and purposeful lessons using the school's existing plans and resources
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils to remain focused, engaged and motivated throughout the school day
