We're currently recruiting Autism Support Teaching Assistants to work across schools, supporting children and young people with autism and a range of additional needs.
You'll be working alongside teachers and SEND professionals to provide personalised support, helping pupils to access learning, develop their confidence and build positive relationships within the school environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who understands the importance of consistency, patience and a child-centred approach when supporting pupils with autism.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to children with autism
- Supporting pupils to access learning and participate positively in classroom activities
- Developing positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting communication, social interaction and emotional regulation
- Helping pupils develop their independence, confidence and life skills
- Using appropriate strategies to support pupils with their individual needs
- Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour, using positive and consistent approaches
- Working closely with teachers, SEND staff and other professionals to provide consistent support
- Following individual support plans and adapting your approach to meet the needs of each pupil
- Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
