Milk Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistent afternoon work in a school environment, with hours that are ideal for fitting around other commitments.
The Role
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the school is clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff. Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Emptying bins and maintaining general cleanliness
- Cleaning surfaces and high-touch areas
- Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the school
- Following the school's health, safety and hygiene procedures
We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school or similar setting
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- A positive and professional approach
Previous school cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right person.
