We're currently recruiting for a School Administrator to join a friendly Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September. You'll be joining a welcoming and supportive school that values professionalism, teamwork and excellent communication.

As the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to become part of a positive and well-established school community.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the school reception and welcoming visitors
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records and attendance information
  • Supporting the leadership team with administrative tasks
  • Processing admissions, correspondence and general office duties
  • Using school management systems to update and maintain records
  • Building positive relationships with staff, parents and external agencies

Requirements or Skills:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience using SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is desirable
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • Friendly, professional and approachable manner

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
