About the Role
As a Secondary Early Career Teacher in Salford, you'll teach within your specialist subject while developing your classroom practice in supportive secondary schools. We have opportunities ranging from flexible day-to-day supply to long-term placements, many of which can lead to permanent teaching positions.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism
- Planning, preparing and assessing lessons for long-term placements
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
- Working collaboratively with experienced teachers and school leaders
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to achieve QTS this academic year
- All subjects sepcialism welcome
- A genuine passion for secondary education
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to working within secondary schools across Salford
