You'll be joining a community-focused, encouraging school that places ambition, collaboration and pupil success at the heart of its ethos. It's an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about KS2 and wants to make a lasting impact in a welcoming and forward-thinking school.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils to develop strong skills in reading, writing, mathematics and the wider curriculum.
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to address learning gaps.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider aims and values of the school.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, independence and high expectations throughout the school day.

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally within KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive rates of pay with flexible opportunities available.
  • Speedy registration process & fast-track compliance - APSCo Compliance+ accredited for the highest safer recruitment standards.
  • Flexible days and working hours to suit your schedule.
  • Culture-matched placements - we take the time to understand you and find schools that fit your values and strengths.
  • Priority Partnership school network - access to trusted schools who work with us long-term on staffing, enrichment and community initiatives.
  • 5+ CPD courses completed before placement (including Safeguarding, SEND & Behaviour) with access to further accredited training through Milk Academy.
