SEND Graduate Teaching Assistants , supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of welcoming primary, secondary, and specialist schools.

The Role

As a SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEND professionals to deliver tailored learning and intervention sessions.
  • Build positive relationships that help pupils develop confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and encourage engagement.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
  • We Are Looking For Graduates Who
  • Hold a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology, Sociology, Sports Science, Health & Social Care, or another relevant subject.
  • Have experience working or volunteering with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Are patient, resilient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young people.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, therapy, or SEND.
