What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encourage students to develop confidence in areas such as programming, digital literacy, cybersecurity, databases, and computer systems.
- Plan creative lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.
- Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and succeed.
- Differentiate learning to ensure every pupil can access the curriculum.
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to a successful and supportive department.
- Participate in parents’ evenings, departmental meetings, and wider school life.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital technology.
- The ability to inspire, challenge, and engage young people.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education.
