Milk Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.
The school is looking for someone who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils, support learning across the classroom and work effectively as part of a wider school team.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Work with pupils individually, in small groups and across the classroom
- Support children with their academic, social and emotional development
- Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet individual pupil needs
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Has recent UK school-based experience
- Has experience working within a primary school environment
- Is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range
- Can build strong and positive relationships with children
- Is patient, proactive and enthusiastic
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
