Pay Rate: Β£107.71 - Β£111.85 per day
Are you an experienced SEND Support Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?
We are working with specialist SEND schools across Rochdale who are looking for dedicated support staff to join their teams.
The Role
As a PMLD SEND Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with complex additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and feel safe and supported within the school environment.
You may support pupils with:
- PMLD and complex learning needs
- Non-verbal communication
- Autism (ASC) and ADHD
- Physical disabilities and mobility needs
- Sensory processing needs
- Personal care and intimate care
- Communication and sensory-based activities
- Emotional and behavioural needs
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as a:
- SEND Teaching Assistant
- PMLD Support Worker
- Specialist Support Assistant
- Care or Support Worker
- Healthcare Assistant
- Youth Worker
- Learning Support Assistant
Experience within a specialist school, college, care setting or SEND environment is highly desirable.
