We're currently recruiting for a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a Primary School in Rochdale on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis Starting in September. This role is temporary.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Deliver engaging KS1 lessons - Teach planned lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum, adapting activities and resources to meet the needs and abilities of pupils.
- Establish positive classroom management - Set clear expectations, manage behaviour effectively, and create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support early learning and development - Develop pupils' core skills in phonics, reading, writing, mathematics, and communication while encouraging confidence, independence, and curiosity.
- Monitor and support pupil progress - Assess pupils' understanding during lessons, provide appropriate support or challenge, and record relevant feedback for the class teacher.
- Work collaboratively with the school- Communicate effectively with teachers and support staff, follow school policies, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Requirements or Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting - preferably in KS1
- Strong understanding of the KS1 national curriculum
- Excellent communication, classroom management & behaviour management skills
- Strong competency in adapting teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of the supportive school team
