About the Role:
Milk Education is looking for a passionate History Teacher to deliver high-quality humanities teaching in a Rochdale secondary school. In this role, the History Teacher will deliver dynamic lessons covering British, European, and world history across Key Stages 3 and 4. Our partner school in Rochdale encourages enquiry-based learning and historical debate. As a History Teacher in Rochdale, you will help students master source evaluation, essay writing, and chronological understanding. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and teaching historical enquiry lessons across KS3 and GCSE cohorts.

- Implementing school-wide behaviour frameworks to ensure purposeful learning in every lesson.
Requirements or Skills:
- QTS (or equivalent secondary teaching qualification) specialising in History.
- Experience delivering GCSE History specifications (Edexcel, AQA, or OCR).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to bring historical events to life in the classroom.
- Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
