Pay Rate: £107.71 - £111.85 per day
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with behavioural, emotional and additional needs?
We are working with welcoming SEND and SEMH schools across Rochdale who are looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to join their teams.
The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may experience SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, anxiety, ADHD, ASC and other additional needs.
You will help pupils to:
- Develop positive behaviour and coping strategies
- Manage emotions and regulate their behaviour
- Build confidence and positive relationships
- Engage with learning and school activities
- Develop social and communication skills
- Overcome barriers to learning
You may provide 1:1 or small-group support, working alongside teachers and other professionals to create a safe, supportive learning environment.

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, SEND, ADHD or ASC is highly desirable.
