SEND Learning Support Assistant

Milk Education is recruiting a caring and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 3-16 within a specialist educational setting in Bedale.
You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND and complex learning needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
- Support learning, communication and development.
- Promote independence and positive behaviour.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Work closely with teaching staff to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils with their personal and social development.
About You
- Experience working with SEND, complex needs or specialist settings is desirable.
- Patient, caring and resilient.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience as a TA, LSA, support worker, carer or similar is beneficial.
