Milk Education are recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Richmond from October. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting children in the classroom and wants to play an active role in their learning and development.
The Role
- Support the class teacher with daily lessons.
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
- Help prepare classroom resources and activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Support pupils with their learning and development.
- Assist with classroom routines.
- Provide additional support where required.
- Work closely with teachers and wider school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children is desirable.
- Passionate about working in primary education.
- Patient, approachable and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and organised.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Keen to make a positive difference to children's education.
