EYFS Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Richmond who are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years professional who enjoys supporting young children through play-based learning and helping them develop the skills they need to succeed.
The Role
- Support the class teacher with daily EYFS activities.
- Work with children individually and in small groups.
- Support phonics, early reading and Maths activities.
- Encourage communication and language development.
- Help children develop independence through classroom routines.
- Support learning through play and practical activities.
- Create a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment.
About You
- Previous EYFS or primary school experience is desirable.
- Nursery experience would also be considered.
- Good understanding of Early Years development.
- Warm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Creative and enthusiastic.
- Confident working with young children.
