We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Richmond and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for full-time work, part-time flexibility, long-term placements or day-to-day supply, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
- Support pupils in completing the work provided.
- Create a positive, safe and productive learning environment.
- Report back to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.
No lesson planning or marking is required, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience or enjoy flexible working.
We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Have experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work or similar settings.
- Are confident managing groups of students.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Are adaptable, reliable and professional.
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
