Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Merseyside to recruit a Performing Arts Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Performing Arts specialist with experience in Dance, Drama, Music, or Acting who is keen to inspire students, build confidence, and support creative expression across KS3 and KS4.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons across Dance, Drama, Music, or Acting
- Support students in developing confidence, creativity, and performance skills
- Prepare pupils for performances, assessments, and GCSE coursework
- Adapt lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour through creative engagement
- Track student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Build positive relationships to motivate and inspire learners
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Music, or Acting qualifications desirable)
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Experience teaching or leading Performing Arts sessions in a school or similar setting
- Energetic, adaptable, and engaging teaching style
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
