Salary: £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting an SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Wakefield, supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Complex Learning Needs, Communication Difficulties, and Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students with Autism, Complex Needs, and Communication Difficulties
- Create personalised learning experiences linked to EHCP outcomes
- Promote communication, independence, and life skills development
- Support emotional wellbeing and positive engagement in learning
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, pastoral teams, and families
- Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
