About the Role

As a Secondary Early Career Teacher in Nottingham, you'll teach within your specialist subject while developing your classroom practice in supportive secondary schools. We have opportunities ranging from flexible day‑to‑day supply to long‑term placements, many of which can lead to permanent teaching positions.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism
  • Planning, preparing and assessing lessons for long‑term placements
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
  • Working collaboratively with experienced teachers and school leaders

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to achieve QTS this academic year
  • All subjects sepcialism welcome
  • A genuine passion for secondary education
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning
  • A commitment to working within secondary schools across Salford
