School Administrator - Primary (Nottingham)

We're currently recruiting for a School Administrator to join a welcoming Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.
You'll be joining a supportive school where communication, organisation and community are at the heart of day-to-day life. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and being a key point of contact for pupils, parents and staff.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of the school office
- Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils
- Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
- Maintaining accurate pupil and school records
- Supporting attendance administration and reportingPreparing letters, communications and school documents
- Assisting staff and senior leaders with administrative tasks
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
Requirements or Skills:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or education setting
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and school administration systems
- Professional, approachable and friendly manner
- Ability to work calmly in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
