Milk Education are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Nottingham for a part-time English Teacher to start in September.
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can bring English to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging and thought‑provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking, and independent reflection
- Use assessment data to track progress and adapt teaching to meet learner needs
- Promote tolerance, cultural awareness, and mutual respect within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in English, with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good subject knowledge
- Ability to facilitate balanced, respectful classroom discussion on sensitive topics
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
