Reception Teachers to join schools from September 2026.

Whether you're an experienced Reception Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching career, we'd love to hear from you.

We have a range of long-term, full-time opportunities available, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You'll play a vital role in giving children the very best start to their educational journey by delivering engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

You'll help create a nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record children's progress and development.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Prepare children for a successful transition into Key Stage 1.
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS is desirable.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support young learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
