Milk Education is working with welcoming primary schools and early years settings across Durham who are looking for passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
Whether you're experienced in Nursery, Reception or EYFS, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Supporting children across the EYFS
Creating engaging play-based learning activities
Supporting early phonics, literacy and numeracy
Developing children's communication and language skills
Supporting personal, social and emotional development
Completing observations and contributing to children's learning journeys
Encouraging independence and confidence
Working closely with teachers, EYFS practitioners and parents/carers
Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
Previous Nursery, Reception or EYFS experience
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Experience supporting children aged 0-5
Understanding of child development and play-based learning
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Nursery Practitioners, Early Years Educators, Level 3 Nursery Nurses and experienced EYFS TAs are all encouraged to apply.

PAY
This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
