We're seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary School based in North Durham.

The role
- Monday - Friday
Support Assistant - Requirements or Skills
- A real passion for working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children's learning
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
Support Assistant - Main Responsibilities
- Encouraging independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills
- Supporting learners by providing one-to-one or small group assistance
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
- Maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality, following school policies
