About the Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work alongside teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil development, and provide targeted interventions where needed. You may be required to support pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading whole-class, small-group, and intervention activities
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Providing additional support to pupils with a range of learning needs
- Helping to maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Working closely with teachers and school staff to improve pupil outcomes
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning
