This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is due to graduate this year or has recently graduated in

Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology, Criminology, Sports Science or another related field .

Your main responsibilities will include

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom activities and adapting learning resources.
• Delivering targeted interventions and catch-up sessions to help students build confidence and close learning gaps.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting an inclusive classroom where every student feels supported and engaged.
• Building positive relationships with students, staff and families to support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements or Skills

• Due to graduate this year or already hold a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology, Criminology, Sports Science or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience working with children or young people through volunteering, tutoring, coaching, mentoring or similar is desirable but not essential.
• Confident working as part of a team and taking direction from teaching staff.
