Your Main Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching a broad range of physical and human Geography topics
- Preparing resources and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs
- Assessing student progress and providing appropriate feedback
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations
- Supporting pupils to develop their geographical knowledge, skills and confidence
- Contributing to the wider life of the Geography department and school community
Requirements or Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A professional and positive classroom presence
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
