Press Brake Setter / Operator – Location: Mansfield. Full-time, Permanent. Hours: Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:30pm. Salary: £14-£15 p/h DOE.

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal into various components. This is a full-time position based in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings
  • Fabricate sheet metal components using hand tools and various tooling
  • Weld and grind components as needed for assembly
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and angles
  • Assemble fabricated parts into finished products
Qualifications / Skills
  • Mechanical knowledge related to press brake operations
  • Proficiency in fabricating sheet metal components
  • Ability to work with hand tools and various tooling
  • Experience in welding and grinding metal parts
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
  • Capability to assemble fabricated parts accurately
